the Human Auric Field

The Human Energy Field Or Aura

Author: Dion Daly

Being aware and being able to Understand and control your own aura (energy field) is a significant step towards self-growth and an awareness of the energies around you.

 Hands of Light

So what is the aura? Well, the aura is a “force field” of energy surrounding each one of us that helps to keep mind, body and spirit together. It mirrors our state of mind and emotions, and health. Also it aids in our defence against all ominous powers. The aura not only mirrors our emotional states, it also, at another level of being, conveys the whole of a person’s collected experience of Karma. What I’m saying is that our aura mirrors all that we are now and have ever been.

Have you ever had the experience of feeling really uneasy when there are a lot of people about? Do you ever have the feeling that your energy is being drained out of you? Do you ever get exhausted after talking to certain people? This is a response generated by your aura to protect you because it could be that someone else’s aura is interfering with yours.

Everyone can sense this energy field, in one way or another, but will do so in different ways. Some people can see this energy field. Others can feel, sense, or even hear the tone of the aura. You can sense this auric force in any enclosed space where there are a lot of people, and where variable energies, positive and negative are being inter-charged.

The aura itself is an invisible band of radiating energy, a life force that can be sensed around every living creature, people, animals, insects, plants and atoms. This auric field of consciousness which encompasses, and permeates every cell of the physical body acts as a shield not only to keep us united on all levels, but also to shelter us from other forces in the cosmos – forces that may not be in synchronisation with our own.

The human aura has seven layers each successive body is composed of finer substance, and higher vibrations than the body that it surrounds, so the most accessible to human awareness are the first three layers encircling the human body.

The Physical Aura (Etheric)
Nearest to the body is the physical aura. It has to do with the body’s physical growth, its strengths and weaknesses, also physical feelings, satisfying t and disagreeable. This energy is very strong in people who are in touch with themselves and enjoy the pleasures of life.

The Emotional Aura
The second layer which extends beyond the etheric aura is the emotional aura. This energy mirrors a person’s emotional moods. All the emotional patterns that make up a person’s personality are contained in it. Like how a person feels about themselves, and others.

The Mental Aura
The third energy layer extends beyond the emotional aura; it is made up of energies to do with our mental life, and with our thoughts and creativity. Both the conscious and unconscious minds are operating in this mental field so desires, fantasies, fears, and hopes occur in this energy field.

Chocolate Aphrodisia

Raw Chocolate the Gift of Health and Love!

Chocolate truly is food for the heart –it is the heart’s “blood,” due to its magnesium, antioxidants, love chemicals and esoteric properties.  Chocolate, as we know it, is known for its sensual love vibration.  Chocolate is the symbol of sensuality, pleasure, and sexuality.  Some writers have claimed that 50% of women prefer chocolate to sex! (imagine if they were given real chocolate: cacao beans!).  A recent study stated that women enjoy chocolate four times more than kissing. From The Latest Word on Super Foods:  Raw Chocolate by David Wolfe, JD

Raw Organic Chocolate is the Best Food Ever!

Chocolate -  the Food of the Gods!

Raw chocolate can slow down and even stop the rapid aging process.

Raw Chocolate

Chemistry of the Cacao Bean by David Wolfe, JD

Cacao beans contain over 1200 chemically identifiable compounds making it one of the most complex food substances on Earth!

Substances in chocolate that have been discussed in the scientific literature as pharmacologically significant, include: anandamide (bliss chemical), arginine (Nature’s Viagra), dopamine (neurotransmitter), epicatechins (antioxidants), histamine, magnesium, serotonin (anti-stress neurotransmitter), tryptophan (anti-depressant amino acid), phenylethylamine (PEA), polyphenols (antioxidants), tyramine, and salsolinol.

What an awesome list of benefits.  Nature’s prozac.

I recently made some raw chocolate and very quickly felt very uplifted, relaxed and blissful.  At first i did not associate the feeling with the chocolate.  I quickly became aware, that the feeling repeated itself over and over.  I truly felt the magic of raw chocolate and later when I read about the Chemistry of the Cacao Bean I became even more excited because every feeling listed above in the article I experienced and the experience was repeated each time I ate my chocolate.  I felt the energy, an energy of health and well-being moving through my body.  It was a sacred feeling!

Raw chocolate is a Super Food.  It can improve the health of all cells of your body. I rubbed the raw cocoa butter on my face and my skin became noticeably soft and it felt wonderful, yet non greasy.

Benefits of Cocoa Butter to Improve Health and Beauty

Cocoa butter (also known as Cacao butter) contains a large number of different antioxidants that act synergistically to present a massive offensive against the free radicals that destroy your skin cells and lead to premature aging. As such, therefore, it is the ideal skin care product.

Cocoa Butter

Let’s look at that statement again.  Why the ‘ideal’ skin care product? To answer that question, we have to look at what antioxidants are, and what cocoa butter can do them , and after that why it is better than other skin care products on the market.

Free radicals are small molecules forms during the body’s metabolism when energy is generated from glucose in the mitochondria of every cell in your body. They are also formed by exposure to pollutants such as pesticides, and particularly the various toxic components of tobacco smoke. Cigars and pipes are no less dangerous than cigarettes, and filter tips make no difference to the production of free radicals.

What they do is to destroy cells, and when these are skin cells you begin to age.  Your skin wrinkles and dries up, and you begin to take on the look of somebody years older than you are. They do this through a process known as oxidation, and antioxidants can prevent it.  They neutralize the free radicals, and prevent your skin cells from being destroyed.

Cocoa butter contains a number of different antioxidants that can kill off a wide range of different free radicals and superoxides, including hydrogen peroxide. Vitamin E is a strong antioxidant – the strongest of all the antioxidant vitamins in fact, and can easily kill off hydrogen peroxide and any other oxidizing agent.   The others are vitamins A and C, but they cannot approach the effectiveness of vitamin E.

It also contains phytochemicals (posh name for plant chemicals) such as flavanoids that are also strong antioxidants. Polyphenols are very effective at neutralizing free radicals, and the cocoa mass polyphenols are particularly effective.  In fact, cocoa butter contains a much higher antioxidant concentration then even blueberries and other so-called superfoods.

In order for cocoa butter to be effective, it should get in contact with as many of your skin cells as possible, which involves rubbing it well into your skin.  The skin is very absorbent and will destroy free radicals in the lower depths of your skin as soon as they are produced, and before they can do damage.

It has been scientifically proved that cocoa butter will prevent skin degradation due to the harmful effects of the UV light in the rays of the sun – UV radiation generates free radicals that are very effective at destroying skin.  Just look at the effect of sunburn! However, there is more to cocoa butter than just that.

It contains a large proportion of minerals including calcium, potassium, magnesium, zinc, manganese, copper and iron, all of which are in a highly bioavailable form that render them more effective that commercial vitamin supplements. Not only that, though. It also contains tryptophan, involved in the formation of serotonin, the ‘feel good’ neurotransmitter, and also dopamine and phenylethylamine, all good substances. It is a brain food as well as food for your skin.

Without a doubt, there are few better skin care products than cocoa butter, and few that also makes you feel good scientifically in addition to feeling great at the way you skin looks so good.

Rejuvinate your Skin and Defeat Winter Dryness!

Your Skin at Risk!

Skin protects the body, provides information by touch, and even synthesizes vitamin D.  Cold weather can be harmful to your skin.

To be healthy, your skin must be kept moist.  In cold weather, dry out-side air can draw the normal protective moisture from the skin, leaving it chapped, scaly, and rough–even, in some cases, badly cracked.  A condition which is painful and allows harmful organisms to enter your body.  Using soap removes fats and oils.  To lessen the damage, take fewer hot baths and in the cold weather, use tepid water for bathing.

Creams and lotions that contain oil can also be helpful in protecting, repairing and regenerating the skin from dryness: they work because the oil film prevents the natural moisture from evaporating.  Some lotions and creams actually draw moisture out of the air into the skin.

Oxygenated Skin Gel

Cellfood Oxygenated Gel has an extraordinary skin formulation.

Cellfood Oxygen Gel

Renews skin texture

Revitalizes skin’s moisture

An additional bonus is that it decreases fine lines around eyes and mouth and it can be used and is beneficial for all problem skin areas.

Avoid Stress Eating This Holiday Season!

We have shopped; no one will like anything we bought; let’s eat. I suspect this mantra will be repeated frequently as holiday shoppers stagger toward the food court in the mall, feet hurting, fingers pinched by the stiff handles on the shopping bags, and a mouth parched by the overheated air. Buying gifts for anyone but newborn babies can be frustrating and maddening, so it’s understandable why the food court may be the most welcome space in the shopping mall. You can sit down, put the heavy bags on the ground and finally do something nice for yourself. You can eat.

The holiday season is no holiday for most people because few, if any, can give up their day job to take care of the additional burdens and obligations associated with the Christmas/New Year celebrations. Even though the computer has made it easier to buy gifts, send cards and pen the yearly letter to relatives, no computer is capable of decorating the house, cooking holiday meals and picking up relatives at the airport. The to-do list seems endless but the number of days to accomplish everything necessary are all too limited. Eating seems to be the only time you forget about your obligations and just relax.

So eating is now our time out by default. There is nothing wrong with this. Even galley slaves were allowed to stop rowing for a few minutes while they gobbled their rations. Eating as time out from the stress of gift buying and holiday obligations becomes a problem only if:

1. You are not really hungry but convince yourself that you are in order to stop shopping or cleaning the guest room;

2. The calorie content of the foods you eat are more suited for someone rowing across the Mediterranean chained to his oar than addressing envelopes.

To prevent holiday stress eating from leaving you with the gift of a few extra pounds, consider this: You don’t have to eat in order to justify taking a few minutes for yourself to rest.

If you go to the food court to relax and ease your tired feet, you can justify occupying a chair by sipping at some bottled water or a diet beverage. No one will make you leave because you are not eating a platter of deep fried chicken wings or a triple burger. The same thing is true at home. You don’t have to wait until it is time for a snack or meal to allow yourself to stop the endless tasks and sit down. Plopping into a comfortable chair with your feet on a hassock is allowable and you don’t have to have a snack in your hand to do this. A magazine will work just as well.

Many years ago, a weight-loss client and I struggled to understand why she snacked so many times during the day since she was never hungry when she reached for food. The reason became clear only after she described her mother’s attitude toward relaxing. Martha was taught to keep busy with chores or with homework when she came home from school. The only time she was permitted to read or watch television was when she was having her after-school snack. As my client told me, “As long as I was eating, I didn’t have to dust or empty the dishwasher or clean out the litter box. So of course I ate as much as I could for as long as I dared.” And this habit reached into her adulthood, so the only time she did not feel guilty about stopping her work around the house or in the garden was when she was snacking.

Taking time out to snack is however important at one time of day; the late afternoon. As the sun goes down, our mood often goes down with it and we feel out of sorts, tired, grumpy and not motivated to do anything. Simple exhaustion and winter darkness are behind some of this late afternoon moodiness, but the brain is also responsible. A particular chemical in the brain, serotonin, seems to become less active late in the afternoon resulting in a deteriorating mood and a nagging need to eat. Boosting serotonin levels is the key to restoring mental, emotional and physical energy. The only way to do this is to eat a low fat, low protein carbohydrate snack like pretzels, popcorn or graham crackers. Serotonin levels go up soon after the snack is digested because eating carbohydrate allows tryptophan, the amino acid from which serotonin is made, to enter the brain. And as soon as tryptophan becomes available, serotonin is made. The changes in mood following this increase in serotonin are easily detected. Focus returns, tiredness decreases, patience replaces irritability, and motivation to keep shopping or wrapping presents increases. These mood changes can be linked to increased activity of this feel-good brain chemical.

So when late afternoon rolls around and you are feeling incapable of doing one more chore or buying one more gift, stop, sit down, eat a carbohydrate snack, wait 20 minutes and then get going again. You still may buy the wrong gift, but at least you will be in the right mood.

Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender essential oil is the “jack of all trades” when it comes to essential oil. The popular oil is used for so many things from helping with aches and pains to curing insomnia.

Precious lavender

One area where lavender oil can give drastic results is skin issues because of it’s astringent properties. But, as a warning, picking the pure essential oils is so important for skin problems. Although these oils are more money, they are worth it. The cost more because they’re better. They’re obtained through a better, more timely process that yields less.

The skin products that claim to help using lavender oil are worthless. They use the highly processed, not as good oil that can cause more harm then good. So steer clear of them. These products are labeled and advertised as containing lavender and are found on the shelves of drug stores and other chain retailers. The only good the lavender in these products does is creating a better smelling product.

For therapeutic aims, like skin care, the high quality oils must be used. These type of oils may be applied to the skin directly. If you wish, you can also dilute them with a carrier oil. Lavender is soothing to the skin, but it’s also drying so those with dry skin might want to stay away. Lavender treats acne and will get rid of blemishes. It’s also used to heal blisters and treat burns.

For the most effective and best results, pair your lavender use age with other skin care methods like taking care of your skin through drinking lots of water.

Skip the expensive products that don’t work and try using lavender essential oil for treating common skin care. While it might be just as pricey or more to get the good essential oil, the results are worth it

Kristine McCormick writes health and lifestyle articles at her web site, Digital Glossy. She’s a big fan of lavender essential oil and just about any sort of aromatherapy.
